# Add, edit a custom catchment

## In TargomoLOOP, catchments help you understand how far your site reaches, and how accessible it is to people nearby.

You can create your own custom catchment if the default ones don’t match your needs. Here’s how:

1. **Click on the Catchment dropdown**  
   You’ll find this in the right-side control panel under the “Catchment” section.

2. **Click "New Catchment"**  
   This opens a panel where you can define your custom parameters.

3. **Set your catchment settings and click Add.**  
   Choose:
   
     - **Mode of transport** (e.g. walking, driving)
     - **Time or distance** thresholds (e.g. 10 min, 5 km)
     - Optional: give it a name for easy reuse

**6.** The new catchment is now active on the map

7\. Click on edit icon to edit the catchment.
