[📍 Working with locations](https://info.targomo.com/targomoloop/help/getting-started-with-targomoloop?hsLang=en#working-with-locations) # Compare a Location with Your Network, Competitors, or Specific location using Benchmark feature. ## Use benchmark feature to evaluate performance and understand how a location stacks up against others. Benchmarking in TargomoLOOP allows you to **compare one location** against: - All locations in your network - A specific category (e.g. “Urban Stores” or “Franchise”) - A group of tagged locations (e.g. “Top Performers”) - A single location of your choice This helps you assess whether a location is **above or below average** across key metrics like revenue, population reach, or spending power. #### Steps to Benchmark a Location 1. **Select a location from the map** It must be one of your **existing network locations**. 2. **Click on the Benchmark icon** This will open the comparison interface. ![Screenshot 2025-05-27 at 16.23.30](https://info.targomo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202025-05-27%20at%2016.23.30.png?width=688&height=436&name=Screenshot%202025-05-27%20at%2016.23.30.png) 3. **Default comparison: Your Network** The system will automatically compare this location against all others in your current network. 4. **Click the pencil icon (edit)** To change the benchmark type, click the edit button next to the current selection. ![Screenshot 2025-05-27 at 16.25.04](https://info.targomo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202025-05-27%20at%2016.25.04.png?width=688&height=434&name=Screenshot%202025-05-27%20at%2016.25.04.png) 5. **Choose your comparison group and Click “Compare”** You can select from: -
