Simulate acquisition, calculate correlations

Run an Impact Analysis of what happens if you take over one or more of you competitors, and get help setting up a score using correlations in the latest release of TargomoLOOP.

Competitor acquisition

To simulate what happens if you take over one of your competitors, right-click on their location and select Simulate acquisition from the context menu.

You can also select multiple competitors by keeping the Ctrl/Cmd key pressed and left-clicking their location markers. Then select Simulate acquisitions from the popup.

The Impact Analysis opens and shows the results of switching the selected locations to your own network.

Correlations in the Score setup

When setting up a new Score from scratch, it can be hard to decide which parameters to choose. TargomoLOOP can now calculate correlations between the score components and your KPI such as revenue.

Go to ⚙️Settings › Score › + Add Data. Enable Correlation and select a set of locations as benchmark.

After the calculation is finished it will show the correlation coefficients. If you choose strongly correlated score components, the score will more closely reflect the KPI.

If you add data to an existing score, the dialog will also show the correlation to the score. To improve the score, select a component that correlates strongly with the KPI, but weakly with the existing score. Such components – if available – add orthogonal information to the score to make it better and more robust.
