When to use Footfall and when to use Visitors data?

Footfall Index has the highest resolution and can be used for assessing the micro-location. It is very sensitive to coordinates so it should only be used for visualization or for analysis with very precise coordinates.

Footfall Counts have slightly lower resolution, cells are roughly the size of a wide pedestrian street. They are therefore most useful for counting the number of people who walk through a certain street. It returns absolute numbers which have been calibrated using ground truth data.

Visitor data counts people who stay in a certain place for more than 5 minutes. It is suitable to get the number of visitors to areas such as malls, train stations or small walk catchments.
